WHAT’S NEW
Litlington Village Fayre - SATURDAY 10TH JULY 2010 - From 1pm
(1st July 2010)
For a great afternoon out, come along to the village summer fayre on Saturday 10th July. Events include a straw maze, motorbike show, dog show, children’s races, ferret racing, car boot, BBQ, refreshments, plants and books sales etc.

“There’s a villa here somewhere...” - Postponed - Now September 2010
For the third time, broadcasting of the Litlington Time Team visit has been re-scheduled - the latest suggestion is that the episode will be broadcast in September, and we will endeavour to keep you up to date. Previous news items on this subject an be found here.
Following the interest raised by Time Team’s Roman villa dig in September 2009, there will be an exhibition of the finds from the 1821 excavation of the Heavens Walls Cemetery. The exhibition will be over the weekend of 3rd/4th July.

St Catherine’s Church in Litlington
Saturday 3 July
10am to 3pm
The exhibition will feature some of the 251 artefacts from the Roman Cemetery, normally in storage at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge, and rarely seen in public.
The event includes contributions by the SW Cambs Landscape Group, Cambridgeshire County Council Archaeology Service, the Cam Valley Detector Group, as well as displays of local finds and photographs of the Time Team dig. The Litlington Book Café will be open as usual and will provide refreshments.
Admission is free, but voluntary donations will be shared between St Catherine’s and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
